Travelling Floral Displays

Our riverside tubs are a big feature in our floral displays. However, every year they have to be moved to make way for Upton's four Festivals - Folk, Jazz, Blues & Water. During the festivals stalls are placed along the river front. In 2009 they were also moved to make way for a continental market. All the tubs stand on three wooden blocks, which allow the use of a hydraulic hand pallet truck to lift and move them.

In 2009 the tubs were moved five times and stored in five different places. For Folk Festival, in the Kings Head riverside terrace; Jazz, on the Disabled Area;Continental market, 12 in front of the cottage & 3 relocated on the river front; Blues, under the bridge; Water, in a different location under the bridge.
