The Heart of England in Bloom Award Ceremony

The Awards were held at the New Vic Theatre in Newcastle under Lyme. The visitors were welcomed by the Mayor of Newcastle under Lyme. President of HoE Sir William Faulkener presented the awards. Upton upon Severn's Mayor, Cllr Andrea Morgan accepted the Gold Award from Sir William, and she and Jackie accepted the Large Village Category and Biodiversity Award jointly. A very successful day for Upton upon Severn, and to be nominated for the RHS Britain in Bloom 2011 was the icing on the cake!
