Litter Pick

We organised a litter pick for 20th March. We registered the event with The Big Tidy Up and received bags, tabards and stickers to help with the litter picking. Malvern Hills District Council Street Scene supplied us with pickers and gloves. We concentrated on Hanley Road, as far as Pool House caravan site; the A4104 from Holly Green, East Waterside and Tunnel Hill. Some bags were left by the bin on the Holly Green road, and the rest in Hanley Road car park for MHDC to pick up. Hanley Road resulted in about 16 bags of rubbish, including a bucket with no handle, china frog and bird and some lino. Thanks to Deputy Mayor Simon Yates, and Malcolm Grogan who single-handledly picked rubbish from Tunnel Hill.
