The centrepiece of our displays was delivered, rather unexpectedly as we hadn't been advised of the delivery day! Calls for help resulted in Hilary Jebson, and Adam the Town Council's Caretaker and Bob the gardener responding. What looked like a daunting task was, in fact, soon completed. The display celebrates the 500th year of the White Lion Hotel, which is the second oldest building in Upton upon Severn. The bed was finished off on the 24th by surrounding the centrepiece with contrasting plants. The bed is sponsored by supporters of UiB with special thanks to the King's Head.
