New tree on the Old Churchyard

The Almond tree at the front of the Old Churchyard was unfortunately infected with Peach Leaf Curl. While chemical control can be used, it is not really something to consider in a public place. Following advice from the Landscape Officer at MHDC, they decided to remove the Almond tree and replace it with a Persian Ironwood (Parrotia Persica).
