Boats on the move

One of the boats at the Hanley Road car park entrance is very shallow. It featured on BBC2 Gardeners World after the floods when we had to move it back into position and replant it. We decided it was time to move it and replace it with a deeper one. With the help of some of the Friends of Upton in Bloom we removed the plants, emptied the compost into bags, carried the boat to the 'Pepperpot' and placed it. We then went to School Lane to bring a boat from Fr Dominic's garden to Hanley Road which we filled ready to plant.
