Memorial Tree in the Old Churchyard

Upton in Bloom committee is creating a 'Memorial Tree' for Christmas in the Old Churchyard.  

One of the silver birch trees will be strung with lights, each one of which will represent a personal memorial to the lost life of friends, relatives and colleagues.

To support the appeal you are invited to buy a light for £5 in memory of a loved one or a favourite good cause.
As each light is purchased a bulb will be lit.

A memorial list of names will be placed by the tree.

Not only will your commemorative light shine at Christmas time, but your contribution will help to light up Upton with flowers throughout the year, and your loved one will be remembered in the many hanging baskets, troughs and tubs around the town.
