Nigel Mansell UK Youth Challenge Cycle Ride

On July 24th 2010 Nigel came through Upton before going to Welland Steam Rally. Nigel was born in Upton upon Severn and he hadn't been told that he would be visiting us! He was met by a lot of people lining Old Street to cheer him. The Mayor, Cllr Andrea Morgan, welcomed him and invited him into the Memorial Hall for a cup of tea.
