Bell Boat Racing, with eight teams taking part, was won by Upton Rugby Club. Mercia Inshore Search and Rescue have been in attendance all weekend, and provided a demonstration rescue and collected the ducks after the Duck Race. The drumming workshop proved very popular with the children. Mayor Paul Thomas had a busy day, selling tickets and making the draw for Upton in Bloom's Hamper Draw (the winner was number 86 on the orange tickets), helping start the Duck Race, meeting Musical Ruth the mobile singing nun, posing with some face-painted ladies. Mr Oliver, the winner of Upton in Bloom's hamper came to collect the hamper.
