Week commencing 15th January

The road alongside the Swan, which partially collapsed about 18 months ago, is neither strong enough nor wide enough for work on the flood defence wall. Stone is being brought from a quarry near Leicester to build up a platform in the river. It will be topped with large bags of sand.
