In December 2009 Grahame Bunn, Landlord of the Kings Head, received the following letter from James Farrell: My brother died suddenly this year and on going through his belongings I found this old set of photographs of Upton on Severn. He was a collector of old post cards. I was going to dump as rubbish but before I did I looked up your town on the internet On seeing copies of old postcards and your name I decided to send them to you in case you haven't seen them before although I'm sure they are very common. If they are any good enjoy if not throw in bin. The book is very battered, but the photos are still very viewable, and I think date from around 1910. Thanks James and Grahame! |
