Rail Exhibition

Held in conjunction with Friends of Upton upon Severn Primary School Autumn Fayre, the exhibition attracted a large number of people. Many people were reminiscing about when the railway came through Upton. Souveniers from the days of steam, prints by artist Eric Bottomley (available at £32.00 + P&P), and a fascinating DVD of the trains that ran on the line in it's last days were on show. There was even a plan of Upton upon Severn's proposed International Airport at Defford! The poster for the event can be seen below.
