Upton has a thriving branch of the RNLI. Fundraising events are held regularly and their stand is a familiar sight at the Water Festival and other events. A Coffee Evening is to be held at the Memorial Hall in Old Street on Friday 10th November 2000 between 7.30 - 9.30pm. Admission is 50p including coffee and biscuits. Bring & Buy, Tombola, Cakes and Souvenir Stalls, and a Raffle will help to raise funds for the Lifeboats. More information on the RNLI will be added here as it becomes available. |
