In 1975 Tony Atkinson began selling maps as a hobby. The Map Shop has now been established for over 21 years and has developed into a successful international business selling and distributing maps world-wide. From the premises in High Street both a counter and mail order service are offered. The Map Shop carries one of the largest inventories of maps and travel guides in the world with over 60,000 items in stock. The business is the UK agent for the official survey authorities for most of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA and many more. They are also one of the UKs Ordnance Survey 'National Stockists' and 'Approved Educational Suppliers'.
