The main trunk of one of the Poplar trees on the riverside, Hanley Road, has blown down during the very high wind. Fortunately it fell alongside the footpath leading to the bridge, which isn't being used at the moment as under the bridge is closed off to pedestrians whilst the bridge is being painted. The tree is the middle of the three smaller poplars in centre left of the first pictures.
