Bridge PaintingThe bridge was unveiled, and instead of Duchess Blue, the colour was yellow. Just before Christmas 2011 some alternative colours were painted on the left hand side of the bridge. Whether or not WCC will offer a vote on these will, no doubt, be revealed in due course. |
The diagram showing the colour scheme which won the original vote. I think that most people understood the diagram to show the bridge would be mainly blue, with features picked out in gold. However, note that along the top is a very thin line of 'gold', so whatever colour resulted, it was not going to be blue. |
