Following the disastrous floods in July 2007, Advantage West Midlands awarded a grant to Upton upon Severn & Tenbury Wells to assist in repair and recovery. A committee led by Malvern Hills District Council and including representatives from Upton Town Council, Upton Tourism & Trade and Upton in Bloom have drawn up a plan of improvements. One of the first to be carried out is the replacement of an unsightly ramp leading down to the Old Bridge Abutment. These pictures show before, during & after the new ramp has been laid.
