Public Rally 3rd March 2007

Harriett Baldwin, Conservative candidate for West Worcestershire, led a rally to protest about the proposed sale of the conveniences by Malvern Hills District Council. District Councillors from the Conservative group in MHDC, and Upton Town Councillors attended the rally alongside a large number of members of the public. Two new prospective District Councillors for Upton upon Severn and Upton & the Hanleys also attended. Given that the current DC for the latter constituency voted to shut the toilets - twice - here's hoping we vote in someone who will actually listen to their constituents! The Conservative group on MHDC have pledged to re-open the public conveniences in Upton, Malvern & Tenbury Wells.
