You will have seen in the papers that the Malvern Hills District Council has put the Upton toilets up for sale and we have confimed that they are prepared to sell them before the May 3rd District Council elections, despite the fact that Conservative Group has pledged to reopen them if we regain control of the council. We are trying to block this in three main ways: 1.  The Conservative Group on the District Council led by Serena Croad will introduce a council motion to delay any sale until after the people of the District have had a chance to vote in May. 2. One of our supporters who is a very experienced lawyer has offered to donate time to help the brewery enforce the covenant that goes with the Upton toilets.  We believe the covenant is already being breached. 3.  We are having another Protest Demonstration on March 3rd at 2pm outside The Kings Head in Upton to demand that any sale be delayed until after the local elections when local people will have had a chance to vote on this issue.  Please come along and help us make our voices heard  by the electorate and the media.
