Following the results of the local elections, in which the Liberal Democrats were trounced by the Conservatives, new District Councillor Mike Morgan attached the 'Opening Soon' to the public conveniences. Perhaps the losing party might consider that they should listen to the people who elect them and who they are supposed to represent. Personally, I don't think that party politics should play any part in local government. We elect people to represent us and vote for what we want, not to be ordered on how to vote on issues affecting us.
