Remembrance Day 2011 in UptonThe Parish Church was full. Representatives of local groups marched from New Street for the service. They then marched to the War Memorial at the Old Churchyard where wreaths were laid by all the groups. Wreaths were laid by the Royal British Legion, Malvern Hills District Council, Upton Town Council, Police, Fire Brigade, Mercia Inshore Search and Rescue, Upton Youth Band, Rugby Club, Rowing Club, Upton in Bloom, Scouts Cubs & Beavers, Guides Brownies & Rainbows, Upton Primary School, Fishing Club, the Kings Head, the Star, Dial-a-Cab and Pepperpot Flowers.
