Dressing the Christmas Trees - 21st November 2004 On a cold, misty, drizzly day, about 14 people from the UTTA, SARA and members of the public dressed over 60 Christmas trees in preparation for them being erected by SARA in the town on November 28th. Dave Walker of Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) helped Bill Dovey, Chairman of UTTA, collect the trees the day before. The tree bases have to be chopped to fit into the brackets and then each tree has its lights attached using plastic ties. The trees are stored in one of the SARA buildings.
