Putting up the Christmas Trees - 28th November 2004

Three journeys from the SARA station were made to bring the trees into the town. Members of UTTA, SARA and the public worked hard and by 11am the trees were all in place. As the trees went up the flags came down. The weather stayed dry and it wasn't too cold. New brackets were put in place earlier in the year to replace the smaller ones and having prepared the trees last weekend payed dividends as all bar two trees went straight into the brackets.
