So far this month, up to the 15th, work has continued on drilling the piles. This is almost complete. After 3 weeks continuous working the crew are having a weekend off. There were about 6 large cranes on site at one stage - a veritable forest of them!

The other major work has been to install steel piles at either end of the viaduct. Thankfully this is now complete - the noise was horrendous! Once the piles were in place they were trimmed to the correct height.

The completed concrete piles are being levelled off. A concrete hard standing has been made around each pile. Most of the piles are complete now and once they have been finished the site will be tidied up ready for the next stage.
