Repairs to the Old Church Tower

A broken window at the top of the tower allowed pigeons to get in. Apparently there were dead pigeons and a lot of mess. Dampness keeps on affecting the electrics of the clock. The window was repaired today, and a good look around the top of the tower resulted in some minor repairs being made to flashing. I was surprised to find out that the circular patterns below the cupola are made of wood! I had a ride in the platform to take pictures of the town. A brand new set of rechargeable batteries allowed about a dozen pictures before dying not long after I got to the top...
